All the space you need
This house is the remaining part of a larger apartment that the owners have divided, selling the bulk and deciding to restructure the residual. The remaining portion appeared really small because it consists of a narrow corridor, two bedrooms and a bathroom in very critical conditions. It was decided from the outset to rid the entire house and rebuild only the partitions that of the bath, this also to make it "breathe". The request for a possible soppalcatura then suggested the idea of creating the center of the house is an area that enclose the functional core and button where the focus of everyday life. A long bench behind the walls even though they are working as a container-sitting is the setting for all the spaces resulting in a blaze of light and color that gives life to this space previously obscure and humble. Small but important changes
The strategy chosen to change this house was based on two points fondametali, the one, to move less masonry structures possible trying to get the highest possible return, and the other, use and involve all existing surfaces. Floors then, but also walls, windows, floors ........ and every corner and inch would accommodate itself sicnificativo an advantage from the point of view of perceptual and functional. As in a game of chess then the economy moves and their effectiveness have become the dominant theme of this project.
Warm between two surfaces
Have you ever been to pass beneath a balcony extremely low? or to enter the houses that children build their homes , perhaps under the kitchen table in the middle of sheets and various furnishings ? In all these cases, the feeling you get is that of a space that surrounds you , you feel " warm under a blanket ." This project represents a first experiment that attempts to investigate these types of relationships between space and our perception . Reducing bone elements in its architecture "plans" and "points" and interlocking them according to their own laws of the latter trying to suggest a relationship " tone " between the distances of the two main areas of the house (floor and ceiling) according to a path , and the possible variation of those who walk through emotional opening a line of indaggine that there is very curious that the relationship between SPACE - PERCEPTION - EMOTION hoping largest and most significant lines of future research .
