We were asked to define, extend and modify a factory near the laterizzi own clay pit. In this case, the research is now directed towards the deepest sense of the relationship with the land, its processing, the sense of digging. What has become the dominant motif of inspiration has been the continuous rise and fall of the means of transport of the clay, as in a huge eddy up and down without stopping, and the maelstrom, with its rotational flows ceaselessly intrecciantisi was the theme that has characterized the entire project.

In a place where the squalor and degradation become a constant that now you do not pay more attention, build a small hotel practically becomes a challenge. Hence the reason for choosing to hide from view as much as possible the district, creating a fictional context drowned in an artificial crater dug on top of a hill inside a Mediterranean garden that leads to old memories and which do all the rooms look out of the 'hotel.
